Surprise visit to see mum and dad

I took off at about lunch time today to see my mum and dad.
Dad hasn't been well at all the last 3 weeks. He has some nerve damage around the 3 top disks of his spine. He has been in terrible pain and only today has felt some relief and had a good nights sleep which would help. He has a referal to a specialist at the end of this month which may mean surgery. Please God that doesn't have to happen that would be a huge operation.

So I arrived just after 12 oclock. They were both really surprised to see me.
We just sat and chatted for about 3 hours - it was really relaxing and I must admit I felt better for seeing dad myself. I was really worried about him.

Also got to catch up with my sister. She is due to leave on a cruise on Monday. Getting very excited and counting down the sleeps. She will be going to Fiji. Lucky her.

Came home to drop in on Stephen and then home to cook dinner.

All in all a great day.
