Christmas Spirit Challenge Week 5

The next challenge is to create a

SHAKER CARD.

(This is Jane's lovely card which I nearly forgot to include - sorry about that Jane.  I saw this one in the flesh - she brought it into the shop to show me.  It's great with some sand inside.  Well done Jane and thanks again for joining in)

(Deb is very clever and has used a gorgeous little Christmas decoration which is a shaker - I love it)

Maybe it could have snow in it or stars or christmas trees.  Anything to do with Christmas.

Christmas Spirit Challenges

Ok - I am off and running with my new Chrismtas Challenge - Christmas Spirit Challenge.  I decided to call it that rather than putting a time frame on it.

Each week for however long I decide there will be a new challenge.

Our first weekly challenge is to create a card with


An Angel + one other element starting with "A".  It's entirely up to you as long as it starts with "A".  You can add anything else you like to your card.

Be sure to pop back to this post and let me know by leaving a link to your card.  If you do not have a Blog then drop me an email (you will find it at the side of my blog) and attach a photo to the email and I will upload it for you.

The deadline for the first challenge will be the Wednesday 7th November.

And here is Deb's card.  She made this for her little grandson, Harry.  How cute is the little snowman?  Too cute.  It made me instantly smile.  Well done Deb.

12 Days Of Christmas 2012

Ok - I have been asked by my dear friend Jane - "when are you doing the next 12 Days Of Christmas?".  So as you may or may not know I love a challenge. (You can check out my previous years challenges if you would like to get started on them first.)

Keep an eye out over the next few days (could be earlier) and see what I have in store. I don't think it will necessarily be 12 Days of Christmas - it will probably be let's just start getting ourselves organized.

I need to get stuck into something just for me so this sounds like a plan.

Mission 3 - Scrapz Biggest Loser

Mission 3 over at Scrapz Biz is to use at least 3 different spots paper.

I have used various spotty papers - some by Doodlebug, Scenic Route (no longer available - boohoo), Doodlebug buttons/journalling spot, dymo label, Unity Stamps "camera" stamp, mini green bulldog clip, brads and the black glossy cardstock is recycled packaging from some clothing I bought sometime ago. I used my craft knife to etch the edge of the card - just for something a little different.

I had fun with this layout and absolutely love the 2010 Christmas Photo Shoot of the kids.

What's up for grabs?????
