My recap of Picture 2 Page

I managed to go to Picture 2 Page on Saturday. I caught up with my friend Kathryn which was great.

I have to say I missed seeing Vicky and my dear friend Lyn who is suffering at the moment. You were both in my thoughts though - that's for sure!!!!!!

I arrived just after 10 and got straight into hunting. I have to say that there possibly wasn't as many stalls there this time - but the ones that were there were great.

I managed to buy some patterned paper - Cosmo Cricket was one of them - ONE of my fave brands. I also bought a couple of stamp sets and some ribbons, chipboard and some other bits and pieces.

I hung around til just after 1 o'clock so that was pretty good.

Oh I nearly forgot - I dropped into Alison Ellis Designs - Alison and Maynard sent me some of the new papers to play with and I managed to make 6 cards to add to the stash of goodies that had on display.
I was quite chuffed at one stage when I was passing by. I noticed 2 ladies standing in front of the stall looking at my cards - they had a note book in hand and were sketching away getting some ideas of the samples. Pretty cool.

So there you are - pretty good day.

and bought myself some of the new Scenic Route papers. I need more paper like a hole in the head...........but when I caught eye of this new line I simply just HAD to have it - of course!!!!!

So looking forward to creating something with it.

Ok - Here is the photo of my stash from Paperific.....I really did have fun!!!!!

Lots of goodies here. My fave's were my new cupcake stamps and these little chipboard people......cool as!!!!!

Sorry about the quality of the shots - I took them late last night so its poor lighting and shadowing as well.....oh well. I have also included a close up of the TimHoltz crackle chipboard flower that Lyn and I did as a "make & take" - like I said I wasn't too impressed with the stuff as it was too "goopy"........sorry Tim!!!!!

Can't wait to use some of this new stuff, but once again - I have to find my desk first.........LOL.

Speaking of goodies

Has anyone checked out Target lately? They have a new range of scrapping goodies. I was in there last week looking for a little pressie for Em's school mate and stumbled across some very nice stuff. While I was there I bought myself these goodies.

They are actually on sale this week too 20% off I think.

Amazing what you find when you have a clean up.

I bought this little girl hairclip - that's right a hairclip, last year just before Christmas. I had forgotten all about her - how cute is she? I am going to use it on an OTP or journal, haven't decided yet - just knew I HAD to have her!!!!!!

Had to share these with you.........

I dropped into a scrap shop in the city today and on the counter were these little bags of bits and bobs for $5.00 each. They had my name on them.............LOL...........so naturally I had to buy them...........here they are.

Today we went to our local Sunday Market and I came across some Scrapping stuff in a nice neat pile. I rummaged through them and really only wanted two thirds of the stuff. I asked the lady how much she wanted for them and she said the whole lot for $20.00. I told her that I was only after certain bits and pieces, so I worked out what they were and she said $12.00..............SOLD to the lady in black!!!!

What a bargain - I worked out there is at least $30.00 dollars worth - there are 3 lots of Heidi Grace chipboard adhesive flocked letters there.............cool as.

Oh how cute..........

Look at this little fella I found yesterday - only $6.50 its a RUSS brand too.........couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it - on the MUST HAVE list!!!! Too cute

I also found this small set of drawers from Vinnies for $1.00 and another bargain was these owl earrings from Target. I have had my eye on these for a long time the original prize was $12.99 and I got two pair for $1.87 each...........too cool.

Just a few goodies I have purchased lately

I have been saving up a few of the goodies that I have purchased over the last couple of months and thought I would never get around to showing you so I have put them altogether.

Some of them are - some goodies pen/pencils purchased at BigW - really cheap brand - my fave's were the pencils which have a ruler design on them. I also purchased the retro type fabric from Sewing Connection here in Pakenham. The little house is from Vinnies - ready to be shabby chiced, the large button is also one of my fave's - its from Robert Gordon............hmm.......what else ...................a funky little handbag, a makeup purse with old fashined photo - just luv these, oh and some beutron buttons from spotlight - thought these would be great on a card and they are quite large - bit bigger than a 50cent piece.

I have another couple of goodies to show you too...........this will do for now.
