She has also kindly given my daisies a right-up on her Blog - great blog too. Lots of tips and ideas.

(You will need to keep an eye on my Handmade Daisies blog . There I will keep you updated on where you can purchase them)

Just a quick report

Well we have just come back from a fabulous weekend in the city. Sean and I were lucky enough to take off without the kids and spend what was like a second honeymoon in Melbourne.
Sean's mum and dad kindly offered to look after the kids for us and even more exciting and lucky was the fact that they shouted us a night in a hotel. We had the bestest time.
Just walking along holding hands was extra special and having cuppas and shopping - just great. I really needed that to recharge the batteries. We walked our little legs off that's for sure but it was all worth it.

I have some serious catching up to do tomorrow - one of which will be my 12 Days of Christmas challenge and I also noticed that some girlies have left me some links to their cards - dont worry I shall get to them girlies and I will let you all know when I finally upload them all. Everyone has done a super job. Don't be afraid to jump on in if you get a chance - would love to have you join in the fun.

Well that's it for this little black duck.

Have a great nights sleep and I shall talk to you all in the morn.

Luv ya........................Sandie

On the 12th Day Of Christmas

Look at Aga's card - she has created some little pop up trees and houses on the inside of the card - I'm luvin it!!!! This is fantastic Aga. Well done.

Ohhhhhhhhhh here we have it the last day. It's been lots of fun checking out everyone's creations. Thank you so much. I've loved jumping on my puter to see who's made the latest card. I still have some serious catching up to do but I will get there.

Today for the last day I would like you to create a card using this image as your inspiration. This is a fantastic project created by "Doodlebug" I just love their goodies especaily their Christmas Ragne. Perhaps you have a christmas house stamp, perhaps you can draw inspiration from the colours - anything at all. The choice is yours. I would also like you to include the word "peace" on your card - that is my order for Christmas this year "peace and quiet" not sure if I'll get it or not though.................LOL.

(Just added Margaret's great red/green/white combo and Vicky's day 12 card and excellent photo of her complete set of "12 Days Of Christmas" great idea Vicky. Must do the same with mine. Lyn's is in now using her new Nestabilities set - gotta gets me some of these. Well done Lyn)

I AM LEAVING THIS COMPETITION OPEN FOR ANOTHER WEEK - IT WILL FINISH MIDNIGHT 5TH DECEMBER AND I WILL DRAW A WINNER ON THE WEEKEND OF THE 6TH/7TH DECEMBER. GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY CREATING!!!!!!!!

I read this yesterday and it tickled my fancy

I was in a gift shop yesterday and came across this gorgeous little key ring type thingy - you know the sorts of things you hang in your car to protect you (if you're into that sort of thing - I think its a nice thing!!!!)
Anyway........it read

"Don't drive any faster than your Guardian Angel can fly" how cute is that. I was really taken with this and walked around the shopping centre chanting it until I got home to write it down.

Just one of those "simple things in life" moments that I wanted to share with you.

Any followers?

If you follow my blog I have just added a "Followers" gadget on the Sidebar of my blog. Jump on there and link your name. Would love to see your face on my blog.

Luv Sandie

(Hey notice who the first one is? LOL. Tickets of myself I tell ya!!!!! LOL)

On The 10th Day Of Christmas

This is my card using a pre-cut chipboard frame (unknown) I have also used the ever so yummy Scenic Route pp, some green bias binding and some sky blue velvet ribbon, button and bits.

On the 10th Day of Christmas I would like you to create a card using a "chipboard frame" now this can be a purchased frame or you can make one yourself from a scrap piece of cardboard/chipboard or maybe even a recycled corrugated cardboard box - I love working with these - they give so much dimension and texture.

Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Have a fantastic day everyone!!!!!

On The 9th Day Of Christmas

This is my card. I have used a white/silvery type wire and sewed it to the card and at the same time added some clear/white/blue seed beads. I kept this one fairly simple. The christmas tree stamp is by Kelly Panacci

Today's card needs to incorporate some "wire and beads" the ideas are endless so 'go to town' and create something wonderful.
Leave a comment to this blog and a link to your card. If you don't have a blog, drop me an email with a photo of your card and I can share it with everyone.

Good luck - happy creating!!!!!

Luv Sandie

(ooooh Vicky's the first card in - well done Vicky it looks fab. Leesa's card looks so bright and funky - luv it)

On The 8th Day Of Christmas

This is my creation using my beloved suffolk puffs - I could put these things on everything. i find them so cheery. I also used a StampinUp French Script stamp for the background.

On the 8th day of Chrismtas I would like you to create a card with "fabric" this can mean one little scrap of fabric or you can go all out and put it wherever you like on your card.

Hope you have fun with this one.

Luv Sandie

(Here is Lyn's card - Sometime ago I sent Lyn some oriental fabric - I know she makes great oriental cards and thought she could use them. Well here we are - she has used them to create some chrismtas baubles - too clever Lyn. Vicky's card is in the middle she has used some red fabric - well done and Leesa has made that cute little Santa from felt - too cute)

..............how is everyone going with their challenges - I hope you are enjoying it as much as I am. For the 7th Day of Christmas I would like to see some ribbon or ric-rac/trims etc or you can put them all together to create a christmas card.

DONT GOTTA WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

.......................this morning at breakfast I declared to our little family that this weekend is called
"DON'T GOTTA WEEKEND". For such a long time we have always had something on over the weekend. We are very pleased to say that this weekend has been "just do what you wanna!!!" LOL. The kids are in the kitchen busily making cupcakes, Sean is reading his papers and I'm just sittin, chillin and reading blogs and creating. So we are one happy family.

How is your weekend going? What are you up to? I would love to know.

Luv Sandie

I just want to say.........................

a HUGE thank you to all the girlies who have been joining in my 12 Days of Christmas challenge.
I luv popping in to see who's been busy creating. Please dont forget you still have time to join in. I am going to be leaving the challenge open a few days after the 12 days challenge is over. That way if you are falling behind you can still catch up. Also - dont forget there will be a randomly drawn prize for anyone who completes all 12 cards.

Keep up the great work - dont forget to keep looking back over the previous days as I am adding new ones all the time.

(You need to go and refresh Day 1 - I have added a couple of rippa cards just over the last 2 days)

Thanks again - it makes me feel really happy all over.
