Paperific

(Thanks to Hayley - Jo's daughter for taking this photo - Anita, Jo and Sandie)
Well I am one tired little black duck tonight after a fun-filled day.
I set off for Melbourne a little later than planned - after the train ride in - just over an hour and then about 35 mins tram ride - not too bad really I suppose. You know what it was like as a kid and you'd be thinking "are we there yet?" Well that was me. "Come on - we must be getting closer".

So I rock up, walk straight in and deliver some cards that I created for Alison Ellis Designs (they have some new ultra yummy stamps) had a quick chat to Al and Maynard and then started to make my way around the stalls.

I must say that there wasn't as many stalls as the last show - not sure about the 2 shows - time will tell with that idea I suppose.
One of my fave stalls were there - Art Stamps. Always managed to do some serious retail therapy there!!!!!!!!!! Clear stamps galore I tell ya!!!!! I was making a few deals with myself. "Do you really need that one - damn straight you do!!!!!" LOL.
I received a call from the lovely and talented Anita and we caught up for a coffee. I also met Anita's friend and my new found friend Jo (& daughter Hayley) so that was a double bonus!!!!!

Unfortunately Anita's other friend Erica was unable to come as well as her son was sick - pooh cack!!!!!
So all in all it was a fantastic day. I really needed that.
My feet held up reasonably well considering I just had my check up with the podiatrist yesterday. Had a bit of a re-alignment - yeah so like I said - not too bad!!!!
I will take some shots of the bits and pieces that I found tomorrow - me thinks I need to get to bed.
Hope you all have a beaut weekend.
(Oh and I bumped into Tanya - I met Tanya at card classes in Warragul one day and we both remembered each others faces. And my sister in law Melissa - it was great to see you Melissa - well she spotted me!!!)

Luv Sandie
(P.S When I arrived home I had some more goodies waiting for me. Some new bits and pieces from Craft Queen and my Little Scrapbook Prize - photos to follow tomorrow)

So sorry I couldn't make it yesterday. Sounds like a great day and look forward to seeing some photos. The bonus of not going is I may now go out and get that cuttlebug I've been thinking about for ages. Well I did save money by not going yesterday!!! Glad you had a great day. Luv Erica XX

Hi Sandie-girl! Thanks for a wonderful day out yesterday. Meeting you "in real life" was just as awesome as I imagined. In fact it was better. Could have sat in the cafe all afternoon just yacking on I reckon! Will definitely have to organise another catch up day soon. Thanks for the daisies....I'm inspired to get back into my craft room after yesterday.....and I have some new goodies to play with. Yippee! Thanks for making our day out so much fun. Love Anita. xxx

Good to hear that you had fun. I can't wait until I'm living in Brisbane again so that I can attend such things.

I also wanted to let you know that I've awarded you a blog award on my blog (if you choose to accept it).
