(Does anyone know if there is an easy way of visiting your blogs. If I click on your images it doesn't lead me anywhere? HMMMMMMMM - not sure. I would have thought that if I clicked on someone's photo image that it would take me directly to you - but no. Would love to know what to do. Ta.)

Alphabet Soup & Monday Mornings "C" is for
Ok here we are again - a little late I know - "sorry about that chief".

Anyway - let's get on with the next challenge - "c" is for
christmas, crown, cork, circles, cuttlebug, chipboard, cupcakes
Let's see what you come up with this time.
Thanks for joining in. Please feel free to invite your friends to join in - you and anyone else is free to sign up as a follower of my blog to get updates.
Don't forget to share your creation with me. I'd love to see it.

Just a little bit excited today
Well it's all happening out in our yard today. First things this morning I had an excavator ripping up our old concrete. I was so anxious and excited all at once. Half of it has been done as I speak and the other half should be done by lunch time.
Unfortuantely - for me (i'm very impatient.....LOL) we have to wait til probably this time next week before the concrete can be laid as there is some shocking weather ahead over the weekend and early in the week - so it is out of our hands really.
But I can say that in a week's time we will be able to walk on nice level - all in one piece concrete instead of the uneven, cracked stuff that has been down since we moved in here nearly 11 years ago.
I took some before photos so I will be able to show you when its all done.
OOOOOOOhhhhhh - better go and make the chaps a coffee. Just baked a cake and some anzac biscuits.
Hope all is well in your part of the world.

Hello Friend
Here is a card I created in the early hours this morning - it's for a cybercrop challenge over at Little Scrapbook Shop.
I have used KI Memories pp and the stamps are by EK Success. I've gone for the retro look with the pp and rounded corners and the embossing folder using my Cuttlebug.
Thanks for looking.

Been away
I took the kids off to my mum and dad's for a couple of nights which was just lovely.
It's always nice to catch up with everyone. The kids always love having nice little chats with Nan and Pop.
Today I have baked and cooked. I baked a cake, slice, made a pot of soup and some savoury muffins. Sean's mum and dad are coming around for tea after mass which will be nice.
Hope your weekend is fun-filled.

Going troppo!!!!
Well it's happened. The kids have gone "troppo" on me. I'm guessing it would have to do with an obscene dose of Easter chocoalte...........LOL!!!! Well not obscene but more chocolate than usual.
I'm going to make a deal with them shortly that if they behave themselves there will be a surprise this afternoon. I am going to go and rent "High School Musical" from the video store.
Well I hope they have it - it has just hit the shelves here. Actually I wouldn't mind watching it myself as I make some daisies.
Other than that it's going to be a reasonable lazy day. Sean went back to work after having 5 wonderful days off. It was so nice to spend some time as a family.
Hope all is well in your part of the world.
Don't forget it you get a chance - create a card, layout or OTP to join in my "Alphabet Soup and Monday" morning challenge. A new challenge is going up each week - you can jump on in whenever you can.

Build It Up Challenge
(Pooh Cack - how much can a Koala bear? Stupid blogger is turning the images again......arghhhhh!!!!! Well I don't care! LOL)
I have joined in some extra fun this week. Scrapbook Capital is running a weekly challenge where you "build it up".
This week we need to use patterned paper. Next week we may add say ribbon. So that would mean we create a card, layout etc using patterened paper + ribbon. It will go on for a few weeks which will result in about 6 new cards or layouts.
Great idea.

Week 1 Challenge - A is for.............
(I created this card using up some leftover bits and pieces. As you will know I love my apples, so had to have "a for apple". I also found these great old Bridge scoring pads in an op-shop and added it too)
Just adding to my last post.
I have started the new weekly challenge "Alphabet Soup and Monday Mornings"
Week 1 - A is for - alphabet/alphas, asian style, apple, acetate, angel, atlas, autumn, animals, anniversary.
Using one or more of these ideas, create a card, layout, ATC, Off The Page - the choice is yours, to create something using the given letter.
Once you've completed your challenge, pop back in and leave a link to your creation. I will eventually create a Slide Show to showcase our work. There is NO pressure to complete all challenges - just join in when and where you can!!!
You can create as many as you wish. I need to make an Anniversary card so I will be adding that one to the mix as well.
Happy Creating.

HAPPY EASTER!!!!!!
I just love this little cartoon - its a crack-up..............LOL!!!!!
Happy Easter everyone. Hope you have had a lovely day.
I know we have!!!!! This is our first Easter at home. We are normally on the road to my folks or Sean's folks. It has been so nice to just stay put and spend some quiet family time together.
The kids woke up to find what Easter Bunny had left - chocolate-a-plenty!!!!!...........of course!!!!!
I made some little Easter biscuits and the kids helped to ice them - shall add some photos later.
We had a beautiful night last night at Church. As I mentioned in a previous post - Sean and I were sponsors for a couple of women being accepted into the church. The ceremony was just gorgeous and the 4 girls are now part of our parish family. It was so nice to see their faces after everyone welcomed them - after over a year of preparing themselves - they are very content.
I hope your day has been a good one too.
(Don't forget to pop back in the morning - I am starting a new challenge)

Having a bit of a clean up
I have just altered my Handmade Daisies blog a little bit.
I thought I would just have the product at the top of the page so people don't have to sift through posts.
I also added some Slide Shows off to the right of the blog showcasing peoples creations using my daisies.

Good Friday
Had a very quiet morning - woke up with another shocker of a headache so I haven't really done too much.
Just finished some yummy Hot Cross Buns which is a tradition in our house on Good Friday.
We are all heading off to the 3.00pm Mass this afternoon. This always moves me - always brings a tear but very thought provoking stuff.
Tomorrow night is a big night in our church. We have 4 new Candidates being received into the church. This will be amazing.
Sean and I are actually sponsors for two of the women. We were asked if we would like to sponsor them - such an honour. There will be a nice supper to share with everyone afterwards which will be held in the Parish Centre.
Can't wait.

Random question
Just have a silly random question for you.
Are you the sort of person that if you buy a new glue or a new mascara, whatever it is - do you make sure you completely use up the existing tube etc or do you get impatient and start using the new one?
Silly question I know - but I sometimes find myself getting impatient and can't help myself - I just simply must start using the new one...............LOL!!!!
What about you??????????????????/

My entry
Last month I took part in a challenge over at Lime Tart. We had to create a little box using a template from Cutting Cafe. (Comp was drawn today - missed out on winning but I couldnt show you until it was drawn)
I turned the little box into a house and this is how it turned out. We had to use the box template of course and some sentiment stamps - The Cutting Cafe have printed/digital images rather than stamps which I found different to use - but "good different"!!!!!
I have it sitting on my kitchen dresser - its so bright and cheery.
Thanks for looking.

Challenge Yourself
I was looking at the bits and pieces left over from the circle I cut for my last card and thought I would share with you how I use them up.
I'm a shocker when it comes to throwing things out and luv to challenge myself to use them all up.
So here are 2 cards I created using up only small bits - but you can do it.
Would love to see you take up the challenge and share what you create.

The second one with the apple tree - made from a suffolk puff is for the latest sketch no. 52. I also used a miniature dolly peg and some fabric.
I had fun completing these challenges.
