Well it's all happening out in our yard today. First things this morning I had an excavator ripping up our old concrete. I was so anxious and excited all at once. Half of it has been done as I speak and the other half should be done by lunch time.
Unfortuantely - for me (i'm very impatient.....LOL) we have to wait til probably this time next week before the concrete can be laid as there is some shocking weather ahead over the weekend and early in the week - so it is out of our hands really.
But I can say that in a week's time we will be able to walk on nice level - all in one piece concrete instead of the uneven, cracked stuff that has been down since we moved in here nearly 11 years ago.
I took some before photos so I will be able to show you when its all done.
OOOOOOOhhhhhh - better go and make the chaps a coffee. Just baked a cake and some anzac biscuits.
Hope all is well in your part of the world.

I'm excited for you too Sandie!
I popped into Ayr yesterday and the lady at Butterfly Blue said that you had contacted her already. I am so glad I passed on those girls names for you. Hope you have had a great week Luv Shaz xoxo
That does sound exciting! I love having old things around the house fixed, 'cos I hate having a daggy looking house. I never notice other people's houses, but I'm always embarrassed about my own.
Good luck with having the new concrete laid.
Good on you for baking them cakes and biscuits, I love anzacs! have a great weekend!
