Tight Undies Anyone?????????????????????

Do you ever have those days in your house where everyone is cranky - sometimes because of one person??????? And that ONE person just happens to have..........................

TIGHT UNDIES ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well this morning has been one of those days.

Tammy has her tight undies on and we are all paying for it!!!!! LOL.

Me thinks she will be having either an early night tonight or maybe some time out in her bedroom. Gosh you've gotta love teenagers and attitude. They kinda go together don't they?

Hmmmmm.....................I'm trying to lay low and stay far, far away.

Luv Sandie

(P.S. HOT TIP!!!! If someone is giving you a hard time or they seem uptight - put this question to them. Have you got your tight undies on today?" )

Pattern Shopping

Took off to Spotlight today in the hunt for a suitable pants/shirt pattern. I'm finding it hard to buy clothes that are suitable for my figure so Sean's mum has kindly offered to help me make something.
I found a pattern and some fabric so that's a start. Now the fun begins.

I shall report back in when there's some show and tell.

Family Bike Ride

This morning we headed to Sean's mum and dad's house on a family bike ride. We stopped for morning tea and then we all headed off to the shops to get the paper and pick up some bread and sausages to cook when we got back.

We did a few laps of the lake at the same time and then we headed off home again. We have had such a nice day.

Nice and relaxing - great way to spend family time.

Hope you're enjoying your break.

Well - happy Boxing Day to you!!!!!

How are we all feeling today? Any hangovers????? None here thank goodness - didn't even touch a drop of alcohol - not that I do much these days anyway............LOL!!!!!

We had one of the most peaceful Christmas Day's yesterday - just our little family and Sean's mum and dad. We would normally celebrate Christmas day with at least 20 other people so it was nice for a change.

The highlight of my day would have to have been when our Emily presented us all with a handmade card that she created - she loves to work on the computer and had been doing some cutting and pasting with a photo of each of us. The day started off with a good old giggle.

The kids have woken up and are checking out their goodies again. I tell ya what - I love chocolate but the amount that is sitting around in our house is ridiculous. The kids managed to score chocolate from everyone. I explained to them that they were only to have 2 items a day. Of course they can throw some their mother's way if they like.........LOL!!!!

Not much else planned for today. We are just going to have a quiet one again.

Take care on the roads everyone - stay safe!!!!!!

Quick Card With A QuicKutz Die

(Please excuse the sideways images - Blogger loves doing this to me sometimes!!!!)

I had to make some last minute Christmas cards - so out of character for me to do that - NOT!!!!! LOL!!!!!
I picked up a great free catalogue from one of my fave stationery shops "Kikki.K", their catalogues are always filled with yummy things - especially at Christmas time - plenty of my "wish list" that's for sure.

Anyway, I was flicking through the catalogue and thought "hey, I could use some of these pages with a christmas die-cut" - so I got to and used the die and Cuttlebug and one of the pages from the catalogue.
Bingo, bango there we are - one rather earthy Christmas card. I was really happy how it turned out and wanted to share it with you. I added double sided tape to every second section to give it dimension.
It's always fun "thinking outside the square".

She was awarded them for English, Geography and Science.

Well done Tam - what a great finish to your first year.

Build It Up Challenge at Scrapbook Capital

Sorry I haven't been around much - it's been quite crazy around this place as I'm sure it has been at your place.

Here are my entries for the challenge that has been taking place over at Scrapbook Capital.

The idea of the challenge is to run for 6 weeks - each week Sharon has been giving us a new challenge.  Week 1 - Ric-rac, Week 2 - bugs or butterflies, Week 3 - scallops, Week 4 - Blue, Week 5 - stripes and Week 6 - brads.

The idea was to add the new element each week - so week one just had to have the ric-rac on it then week 2 had to have the ric-rac and the bug and so on.

Thanks for a great challenge Sharon - I had stacks of fun.

12 Weeks Of Christmas - 3 Weeks To Go

I just wanted to share a quick card that I created just a couple of days ago for Christmas Cards All Year Round.
I took a photo of the little snippets that I had leftover from some other cards - and just what you can do with the smallest of pieces. One of my fave things to do.

NAUGHTY AND NICE!!!!!

I just wanted to share this card that I created today. The idea came to me as I was lovingly devouring some Dove chocolates - you know the new ones that are individually wrapped? Of course you do. If you are a serious chocohollic like me you would know what I'm talking about........LOL!!!!

So here we are. I used some old buttons and covered them with the Dove wrappers - I just trimmed about a centimeter from around the edge.

Now the "Nice" part of the "Naughty AND Nice" is the I have used a recycled yoghurt lid - the foil part. I whipped it through my Cuttlebug using the circle embossing folder. Pretty cool huh?

I used a bronzy cardstock to co-ordinate with the bronze in the wrapper and added a bronzy/brown ribbon and silver button and star.

That's it - easy peasy!!!

Friends Helping Friends

My mother-in-law's friend has been busily making these gorgeous bracelets. I think they are rather funky. Not sure where she got the idea from – but I like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are made using thick elastic and every button is individually sewn into place. A lot of the buttons are vintage so that makes them just that little extra special. The brooches are sewn onto a circular disk and padded and a clasp at the back of brooch.

There are 10 bracelets (including 2 children’s bracelets) and 2 brooches.
