Scrapz Amour Day 4

Day 4 - righto. We had to create a card using the "kissing" technique.

This requires the use of two stamps. What you do is ink up a background or pattern stamp for instance and then use another stamp - which has a solid design.

I used a flower stamp for the solid stamp and then inked up a StampinUp "French Script" stamp and pressed the solid flower stamp directly onto it.

So basically instead of getting the solid impression when stamped - the flower stamp now takes on the pattern of the script stamp. Just gives another option when stamping.
It's fun to see how many different designs you can get just by playing around.

I don't have a lot of solid stamps so I was limited to only a few but if you have some and haven't used them much - give it a go. (A lot of foam stamps have a solid design to work with)

I used a pink/navy combo for this card. I also used my cuttlebug script embossing folder to tie in with the script on the flowers.
(Please excuse the shonky photos - I just couldn't get the right light outside today)

looks black on my screen but I like it any way, both the navy/pink or black/pink is very classy...nicely done!
