Last uploads for Scrapz Biz “Scrapz Amour” challenge

Well I finally finished ALL 10 challenges for the Scrapz Biz challenge.

We had 10 days of different challenges all to do with stamping – my fave things.

Day 5’s challenge was to make a little acetate box.  I created this one for Sean for our Anniversary coming up in April.  I have filled it with red hearts just so you can see what it looks like, however, his fave choccies are cherry liquers so I will swap them over closer to the time. (I might just have to eat the hearts myself…….LOL)

To keep in with the theme of cherries I stamped a little cherry stamp with red and black StazOn ink and then added some little Kaiser pearls to the red cherries for something different.  I also made a little heart punch label for the top of the box and added some sticky alphas and some of the gorgeous cherry ribbon to match.

The next challenge that I completed was challenge 7 – the challenge was to use a heart box template and decorate it.

This was lots and lots of fun.  I could see this box being used for lots and lots of different ideas – birthdays, gifts and Chrissie presents.  Too cute.

For my design I chose an old page from the book “Little Women” and cut it down a little to fit just inside the front edge of the box.  I then stamped it with a swirl stamp and green ink.  I used one of my Handmade Daisies and some other blossoms with buttons and brads.

I also used a length of jute for the handle and attached the jute to the sides using some old rustic wooden buttons.

There you go.

Challenge 9 was next for me.  The challenge – stamp on fabric.

So I used my angel stamp by FernGully Stamps and Timber Brown StazOn ink.  I then used watercolour paint of all things to colour it in but you know what – it worked……….LOL.  I then added the finished product to some gorgeous cream/pink gingham patterned paper and doodled a stitched border around the outside of the card. I finished it off by adding a little clothes line using jute and some cute little pegs.

Challenge 10 was to use up bits and pieces of scrap patterned paper to create some quick cards. And quick there were. All I did was cut out some cute die cut shapes form a sheet of Bo Bunny patterned paper and added ribbon, brads, buttons and stamps of course.

So there we are – ALL ten challenges complete.  I can’t believe I did it.  It was so much fun.

Thanks for popping in.

Thanks Vicky.

I nearly didn't complete this challenge as I hate measuring - especially in inches but I'm so glad I did in the end.

Can't wait to see what you create.
