Scrapbook Lady

I popped into the new premises of Scrapbook Lady today and met the new owner Jan.

I had a good old chat to her and will be selling my daisies there soon which is rather exciting.

Better get my fingers working - I have a few orders to get done.

Bring on the school holidays I say!!!!!!

Card Class Today

I had a lovely morning with a local lady. I helped Mary create 3 cards.
She did a fine job and was very pleased with her results.

Mary was interested in creating a boat shaped card so I found a template on Hero Arts Blog and we used that. It turned out great.

I shall share some pics when I can.

Little Scrapbook Shop June Cybercrop

Well – being the long weekend my time was swallowed up with one thing or another.

I just managed to squeeze in this card set for the Card Sketch Challenge.  We had a sketch to follow and we also had to create 3 cards – so I thought I’d make 4 while I was on a roll.

For all cards I have used some scrap pp by Cosmo Cricket that I simply couldn’t throw out – glad I hung onto them as they were perfect for these cards.

I have also used American Crafts Foam numbers and the good old Dymo Label.

I had fun creating these and they came together nice and easy.

Thanks for popping in.

Hope all is well in your part of the world.

Weekly Challenge at Scrapz Biz

I completed these 2 cards for a weekly challenge over at Scrapz Biz.
Our challenge was to create a card with a decorative edge. I used a bracket stamp to create the second card and the first card (also using my new Daisy colour - "teal") was created using a Cuttlebug Embossing Folder.
Unfortunately due to our internet server being down last night - arghhhhh, I didn't get to load them into the gallery on time - however, I still wanted to include them as I was pleased how they turned out.

I have used my all time fave pp - October Afternoon.
Thanks for taking a look.
Hope you have the bestest day.

A Magical Day

Today was a magical day.

I went with a friend to visit my great Aunt and Uncle. I haven't seen them for many, many years - before I was married. I have only been in contact via letters etc.

My Aunt is my nan's sister. Nan has been gone over 17 years and it was so nice to talk to my Great Aunt and her family life growing up with my Nan.
I was VERY close with my nan and we had so many good times. I shared some of these stories with my Aunt and she shared many with me that I hadn't heard of before. It was fantastic.

My heart is full of love and full of fond memories of our special day.

I mentioned to my Aunt that I would love to see some of her old photos. I went on to say that I would check them out NEXT time - when she heard me say this, she was excited as there was going to be a next time.

Lots of funny, happy stories to share - when I arrived home Sean and the kids could feel my excitement and happines............oh.........great feeling!!!!
