Little Scrapbook Winner

Just found out that I was joint winner (with Kayla) for Challenge 4 - 10 Card Challenge over at Little Scrapbook Shop. It was for the July Cybernight................wahooooooo!!!!!

Mizuki has arrived

We picked up Mizuki from school yesterday afternoon. We brought him home and settled him in. He couldn't believe how big our backyard is. He lives in an apartment in Japan which has 8 stories and he and his parents live on the top storey. So any lawn is a bonus.

He has pretty good english and interacts with the kids very well considering he is a bit older. He is 14 - Em is 11, Tam is 10 and Josh is 8. Josh thinks its fab because he has a boy to play with instead of his two sisters...LOL. They have been making heaps of origami - just as well Mizuki doesn't mind because Josh just loves origami.

We are just going to chill a bit today I think. He has to be tired because I know I am after all the running around to get things organised. He is very happy to just go with the flow.

He doesn't have any religious background however he is happy to come along to church with us tonight so we shall see how that goes - there will probably be other students as well I'd say.

Well that's it from me for now.

I AM NOW PART OF "THE BARN" GIRLIES!!!!!!!

Well girlies I am just about bursting at the seams. I can now tell you that I am an official "Barn Girl"............that's right. As of yesterday I became part of the team at Remember When. As "Big Kev" used to say "I'm excited!!!!!". The Barn is only 15 mins away from home which is excellent.
I am going to be working with Kathy and coming up with some creations for cards.
I had a great morning yesterday going over different ideas with Kathy - she was great. I get to work from home and do what I love doing - creating. So keep your eyes open - things will be happening soon hopefully.

I have a very busy few weeks coming up with the visit by our Japanese student but in between all of the goings on around here I will be completing a few projects.....can't wait.

Couldn't wait to tell you all.

I have pretty much tried everywher on the net but apparently there is a hold up with the wholesaler.

Oh Boy!!!! I can't believe its Day 10 - Last
day of the comp. I have such a blast creating
a card (or two) for this fantastic Challenge.

Here is my last card - I have used KI
Memories "Kiss Me" pp, chipboard heart
(3 piece), FTI grossgrain spotty ribbon,
dymo label, "sassy & girl talk" by Making
Memories, woodcraft trendy girl by Kaiser
Crafts painted in black acrylic paint.
Red/Pink/Black cardstock.

I can't wait for the next challenge.

Day 9 - Nine Time Caardvark Comp

Here is another card for Day 9. I have used Adornit PP,
Bella chipboard flower - added bazzil cs and hand journalling to flower
also the centre of the flower has a stamped clock on it.
Title was done using several stamps - hand journalling
on punched circle flowers "flower" title.

Here is my Day 9 entry. I have used
Hambly Prints Urban Chic Frame and stamped
clock faces with wings stamp directly onto it with
Jet Black StazOn. I have also added a handmade
daisy wheel floer and stamped title using BamPop
alphabet stamps and some bling!!!!! Dymo label
and the harlequin stamp is by StampinUp.

I have used 2 pp's, 2 ribbons, 2 circles (white
circle with rub-on) and black buckle, and
2 stamps are "love" by StampinUp and
"butterfly" by StudioAstarte
