There is a new magazine out at the moment
I love this idea.
I completed some cards for Nicole at Craft Queen back in July of 2011 using the same idea.
See what you can come up with. It's lots of fun and the best way to get the most out of your stamps.
Happy Australia Day.

Lucy's Sketch No. 5
Last day of Lucy's sketch challenge. Gosh I've had loads of fun. It's been so nice just getting in the creative zone and I just love a sketch challenge.
For this card I have used October Afternoon paper again (as in Day 2) Stampin Up Butterfly stamp and punch, Martha Stewart butterfly punch, dymo label, red/white twine, green brads and red/white gathered gingham trim. I stamped the butterfly stamp a couple of times - one for the stamped/punched butterfly and then again so I could use the Martha Stewart punch to punch out the little butterflies.
I've tweaked the sketch a little here and there but I'm happy with how it turned out.
Thanks for looking.

Lucy's Cards Sketch No. 4
For today's card at Lucy's place I have used the gorgeous "Girls Paperie" patterned papers and Pink Paislee "Butterfly Garden Collection" stamps. I love both of these.
I have added some hand stitching and cut out the scallops to attach to the back of the semi circle. I also added some sepia ink here and there.
Thanks for looking.

Card Positioning Systems Sketch 249
Yet another challenge. Boy am I having fun. This time Card Positioning Systems have a sketch.
Working away in the heat today has been a challenge in itself but it's keeping my mind off it - mostly!!!! I think it was 35 degrees here today - seems hotter but that is for tomorrow - it's supposed to reach 40 - NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
Here is my card using old Wild Asparagus paper, Spellbinders Die, Kaisercraft Resin flowers, sticky alphas by Jillibean Soup and some blossom that I picked up in a craft shop in town.
Thanks for looking.

Inspirational Challenge - who's up for it?????????
Tammy was talking over lunch about an idea she has to store her earrings.
She wanted a sheet of steel mesh ideally to be able to attach the MANY earrings she has in her collection now. One for every week of the year!!!!!!!
So we didn't have any mesh and so I suggested that she use a round embroidery frame that I picked up at the op shop a few months ago and also to pop a piece of aida cloth I had in my stash of "things to do one day".........LOL.
Here is the image
Now I challenge you to be inspired by this image in any way you like - it could be the colour, style, anything at all.
Challenge is open til the end of January.
Your time starts now.
Happy creating.

Craft Queen
I decided to use up some of Nicole's beautiful ribbons that have been sitting on my desk - you know me by now, I simply can't throw even the smallest pieces of ribbon out. So - I got to and made this card.
I also used Distress Stain for the Doily - loved the deep colour green it turned out. I was inspired by the small scrap of daisy patterned paper I had leftover from a card yesterday and it all came together nicely.
Happy creating.
