Well it was a nice surprise to make some time this weekend to complete a couple of challengs over at Little Scrapbook Shop. It was their first Cybercrop for 2011.
I managed the Card Sketch Challenge and the Layout Sketch Challenge.
For the card I have used my fave October Afternoon papers, the ashy green colour is actually and old envelope - if you look carefully you can see it. I have also used a paper doily, Martha Steward butterful punch some twine and eyelets. I also used a distress ink to give it an aged look.
For the layout we needed to include warm summery colours and follow the sketch.
I used a light grey cardstock for the background, I folded the corner of the photo for something different and stapled it. I also added a thick yellow/white gingham trim along with a vintage orange zipper. Other goodies are vintage felt flowers, butterflies, one of my yellow Handmade Daisies By Sandie, paper doily and mixed alphas.
