My last post to Remember When Blog

Well it is official - today was my last day with Remember When. I have had stacks of fun creating goodies with the RW Laser Cuts. As I am trying to get my Handmade Daisies business up and going I feel I wont have the time that I'd like to put into creating things for Remember When.

So that Kathy and the girlies - thanks heaps - its been fun!!!!!!
Here is my last card that I shared on the Remember When Blog today.
I used the cute little deer laser cut and went for a vintage type card. (And here we go again - the stupid image is sideways - I reckon this must be a blogger problem because its saved as landscape..............arghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! Oh well or should I say "oh deer!!!!" LOL)

Today at Remember When

I just posted an entry on the Remember When Blog today.

I have used the cutest little owl on a branch. I just coloured him in with the kids markers - which is all I could find at the time............LOL. Then I made a tag and added some other little bits and pieces.

Here he is!!!!

Remember When Blog

Here is a little tag I made today for Remember When Blog. Rach kindly dropped some new goodies off to me the other night. So I had a play and came up with this cute little birdie tag.

I have used inks directly onto the laser cut, added a button, some ripped cardstock and a handmade tag.

This week at Remember When's Blog

This is the card that I created for Monday's Blog at Remember When. I have kept it VERY simple. All I used was Tammy's Christmas Tree No.1 inked it using bright green ink, used different sized brads, some pp by Creative Imaginations "December" and some craft tinsel which I just stapled across the bottom. It took me 10 mins tops. Now it doesn't get much easier than that and that's one of the many Christmas cards I can tick off my list. I must say I just love this funky christmas paper - its very hip and happenin!!!!!

How are your plans for Christmas going?

Now I dont mean to alarm you, but how are your plans for Christmas going?

It's coming around a lot quicker than you think!!!!!!!!!!!! Have you started your Christmas cards yet? And what about the dreaded shopping?

I'm thinking of starting up a sketch challenge for creating Christmas cards. If you are interested leave me a comment and I shall get started on a sketch.

Spring Is In The Air

Here is the card I created for today's blog post over at Remember When.

I kept this card very simple. I have added Remember When "Embellishment Sticker Sheet 1" and "Decorative Scallop Strips". I also used Kelly Panacci pp which is just gorgeous - you dont have to do much to it already - its just so bright and cheery. Bit of ribbon, button and brads. That's it.

Cupcake Album at Remember When

Here is a photo of my cupcake album that I created sometime ago for Remember When.

I didn't take any photos unfortunately before I gave it to Kathy, however, this is the shot she has taken to pop into my gallery.

When I get it back I shall share some more photos with you. I had stacks of fun with this.

Today at Remember When Blog

Here is a card I made for the Blog at Remember When.
I have used some green/white checked pp and some laser cuts by Remember When - "Off Centre Circles" and "Flower Set 1". I simply inked the circles using red/green inkpads and then inked one of the flowers from the set and added a button for the centre. As I'm into doodling lately, I had to add some doodling to the circles and also the border of the card. I used some alpha stamps for the title and added them to the card. I quite often use the title "Bloom Where You're Planted"..........simply because..................I like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL.
This was a very, very quick and easy card to make.

Monday at "The Barn"

Here is today's card that I made for Remember When's Blog.
I have used one of the laser cuts "Fresh Flower Corner" and added a couple of coats of a fushcia pink acrylic paint.
Next I punched an oval scallop punch from white card. Stamped "fabulous" from Fontwerks "Elsie Flannigan" range using TimberBrown StazOn ink. I then added some doodling around the edge of the scallop. Cut 2 slits either side of the scallop to thread the brown ribbon through and secured a knot on the face of the card.
Created a square card using white cardstock and then cut a piece of Making Memories patterned paper for front of the card and then assembled everything.

A quick and easy card.

Best Wishes

For this card I have used a large flourish by Remember When and the butterfly stamp is by Studio Astarte and the Best Wishes is by Stampin Up, the pp is by HeidiGrace and I have also added some kindy glitz and KaiserCraft pearls.

Back at "The Barn"

I have been having a bit of a break from "The Barn" but today I created a card using one of the gorgeous laser cut chipboard. Its "Scroll 10".......a very elegant floral design. I love it.

I simply added some Baisc Grey pp, button, lace and sentiment.

A very quick and easy card.

(You will notice I have used lace again............I tend to go with an idea that pops into my head and usually the next lot of cards have the same type of theme.........great way to make some quick cards)

Just thought I'd share my work that I created for the Melbourne Paperific

Here are some (poor shots - terrible light) of the work I prepared for Melbouren Paperific for Remember When.

I did a set of 3 canvas, a single canvas and 3 cards.

I couldn't get a shot of all 3 canvases in one shot so you will have to get the general idea that they would be displayed on a wall in a set of 3.

Monday At Remember When's Blog

This is the card I created for yesterday's Remember When Blog.

I have used one of the Square Overlays in the Card Making section at Remember When and then I have added some Heidi Grace pp and flowers/brads.

This Week At Remember When's Blog

I missed out on updating Remember When's Blog on Monday as I have been feeling a little off this week.

I have completed this card for today instead. I have used a "Floral Border" which would normally suit a layout, however, I like to think outside the square so I cut it to fit my card.

Here it is. Very simple really but I was happy how it turned out.

Monday Blog at Remember When

Here is the card I made for Monday Blog at Remember When. I have used one of the laser cut scrolls and cut it into 3 pieces, inked it and then added some bling, flowers, stamps etc.

Today on the Remember When Blog I have posted a Valentine's Day card using some gorgeous laser cut hearts.

I have also used Scenic Route patterned paper "Lloveland Garnet Street" which is just BEA-utiful and some other bits and pieces.

When inspiration doesn't hit...........seek it!!!!!

Today at Remember When's Blog I have added an Inspirational Idea.

When inspiration just wont come to you .........you have to go seek it........go looking elsewhere.

I bought a Maxwell & William's fine bone china mug at the start of the year and loved the design and automatically thought "hey I could use this idea on a card!".

So here is a shot of the mug and the card I created using Bazzill cardstock, ric-rac, buttons, bling and Remember When's Flower Set 1 laser cuts.
